Yes Barbra. Before my PCOS was discovered and treated, which in my
opinion was far too long, I developed severe fatigue and very chronic
muscle stiffness that effected my athletic performance severely and kept
me from being able to get out of bed in the morning without pain. My
rhematologist tested me for chronic fatigue and fybromyalgia. He said I
didn't officially quite have either, but was borderline. Sort of like I
wasn't officially IR either, but borderline.
After Demulen and Glucophage, those symptoms have either eased or
disappeared.
So do I personally believe PCOS can lead to chronic fatigue and
fibrymyalgia? My personal opinion, is yes, although it may not be
offically medically documented.
