PCOS? Can it go away?From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 27 Feb 2002 06:59:50 -0600 (CST)
I was diagnosed with PCOS in Sept. I figured out that I have hypothyroidism just after the diagnosis. Since then I have been on Levoxy starting in November. Previously I would not ovulate at all without being on Chlomid. This past January I got my period! Question is could this be because my thyroid is under control now and my hormones are working correctly, could I possibly NOT be PCO now? Is that something that can be skewed by an imbalance of hormones? Or do I still have it and I just got lucky one month? Anyone know? I have not been going to an infertility specialist bc we just moved... and if I am ovulating then I really don't need anyone! Thanks for any and all help.
