Hi there,
Welcome to the group, Just wanted to say that Glucophage (also known as
Metformin) does have various side effects and the Nausea is one of them as
well as tummy problems that keep you running for the Loo, weight loss (
probably due to the runs :)) and also tiredness, but the effects do
eventualy go away... by the way pregnancy is also a side effect yes its true
if you read the insert that you get with the meds you will see it is
mentioned.
Been on a high protein diet is excellent advice given to you as it is the
best for PCOSers as we cant tollerate too many Carbs (especialy while taking
Met/Glucophage. Carbs seems to make the side effects a bit worse. My advice
to you is hang in there it will improve....
email me if you need any more advice,
Nikki
