Re: breastfeeding and glucophage BELLEFrom: paula (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 25 Feb 2002 10:24:21 -0600 (CST)
Belle, you have plenty of time =) i am just trying to get all mu ducks in a row because the doc RIPPED me off glucophage at about 7 weeks, and since her studies were better than mine, i didn't have a leg to stand on. I am now on insulin twice a day. i am also adament about breast feeding. i plan on it for at least 1 year (of course after teething, it's gonna be pump and bottle! LOL). hubby and i agree when baby stops using bottle all together he/she can stop drinking breast milk, until then...it's a hassle for me, but best for baby. anyway, i am just wanting to weigh the pros/cons of glucophage for baby. i will stay on insuln if necessary, i would just rather not haha. thanks, and i will be looking forward to the info =) love, paula
