Personally, I am ion favor of staying on the Met through an entire pregnancy. Some doctors won't prescribe it at all. But there's increasing evidence that not only does it not harm the baby, but can reduce the risk of miscarriage. So, a compromise that I have seen several women on this board do is to stay on it through the first trimester. I sure hope that's what happens for you, too! Good luck!
