No it does not just happen to overweight woman and yes you can have it even if you are thin.PCOS can cause you to gain weight because of insulin resistance.I used to be very thin in my 20's but over the years as my insulin resistance worsened my PCOS worsened and I gained weight. As far as stomache pains..were are they located? lower ab? could be overy pain if it is low.Otheriwse I dont know what it could be. Good luck to you and go see your doc and talk to him /her about this.Dona
