Hi!

Cysts can come and go. They form, they can get larger and then shrink and they can even burst and they often do. Yes, they can put pressure on things and make your abdomen feel sore, puffy or even warm. If a cyst bursts you usually have no feeling at all but occasionally you can feel it and it can be painful.
