Hi Melanie!

I'm not sure but it could be because the Yasmin IS doing good things for you. I started Glucophage about two months ago and very soon after I started my breasts were terribly swollen and so sore that it was hard for me to sleep at night! I was really weirded out by this and my sister thought the I might even be pregnant! I wasn't but soon after I got a period on my own! Shortly after the period ended my soreness went away. It sounds really silly but I put cold packs on my breasts when I watched T.V. to help relieve the pain and pressure! My little brother lives with us - he's twenty-one and he thought that I was pretty whacked! LOL! It did help, though! I'm no doctor but I chalk it up to the fact that these meds ARE doing something good in our bodies! Sore breasts can be a sign of pregnancy but you are on the pill so it's probably unlikely that you are pregnant. You could take a test to be sure though. Hope this makes you feel better.

You're having good things happen with you hair loss on Yasmin, huh? Yasmin is a birth control pill you can get in the U.S. right? Are you on Spironolactone or Aldactone also? Are you on Metformin or Glucophage? How long have you been taking Yasmin and at what dosage? I've heard good things about Yasmin from others like yourself and I am very interested in what you have to say about this. Hair loss is my MOST UNFAVORITE symptom so far. Your input would be greatly appreciated! God bless! Tera
