Hello All,

I've had "female problems" for as long as I can remember, no Doctor could find anything wrong. Then several years ago My Sis-n-Law showed me an artical on PCOS. I had all the symtoms! So I took the artical to my Doctor who ran test after test and told me she couldn't find anything wrong but I persisted and she sent me to a gynecologist who ran more test's then told me that my problem was that I was too fat and that I should come back to him after I lost weight. I walked out of the Doctors office and cried for a month. That was 5 years ago and I haven't been to a doctor since. Last Fall I decided I wanted to know what those doctors had been writing about me in their notes so I asked to see them (I ended up having to lie and say I was moving and would need to give them to a new Doc.)Anyway Long story short the Gynecologist stated flatly that I suffered from PCOS!!

I can accept that both doctors are clueless to pcos, I'm from smallville Arkansas and we don't get very many good doctor's here. I read the Woman's Day artical last night and have decided that its time I do something! I've made an appointment to see a Doctor next Friday and I want to go in that office armed and ready!

Can anyone out there help me?? I need to know (EVERYTHING)what seems to be working?

Many Thanks

Feel free to email me I can always use more friends!
