Jessica, I know that this message was for Beth but I had just asked my dr if we could up the dosage of mine b/c I had been on 50 mg for almost 2 years and it helped some but I needed a little more help. I just started taking it at that dosage again so we shall see how I do. When I first took it at this dosage it helped my acne as did the pill but now I take the spiro only for the water retention and the excess hair growth. I take prenatal vitamins instead of multi-vitamins for my vitamin needs even though I've never been pregnant and since being on it I've had a lot of success at keeping the acne at bay.
