Start taking your temp every morning when you wake up, and note the time. Do this every hour until you get up to 98.6.

For me my waking temp at 4:30 am is 96.8 and I don't reach 98.6 until around 12:30-1pm. That is abnormal. I shouldn't be dipping that low... and it should only take me 2-4 hours to reach 98.6.

It has been theorized and semi-proven that your body doesn't work right adrenally/hormonally if unable to keep a stable temp throughout most of the day. IE if it takes you too long to warm up, your body doesn't signal the right things to happen.

This is something I'm starting to research; apparently you have to force your body to warm itself up, and then eventually it will get the hint. Do this by: hot baths in the morning until you're at normal temp (sitting in hot water isn't enough, you have to warm the trunk of your body so lie down or run a really hot shower), eat a natural foods diet (foods that are in season and unprocessed like fruits and vegetables), and keep a natural light schedule: low lights at night, bright lights during the day.

Some people also recommend a double espresso each morning but caffiene is bad for IR so.. no! a hot decaffeinated drink is ok tho.
