Sorry gals, I may be asking the same questions that have been answered before... I read in one of the posts that just BCP's should not be the only thing used to treat PCOS, but IR related drugs as well.... Is this true? I'm only on Yasmin and I went for some blood tests a week ago. I will be able to go over them with my endo in a week. Even if my insulin levels show up normal, should I suggest taking something like Glucophage? Unfortunately, it seems that neither my regular doctor nor my reproductive endocrinologist know too much about PCOS. They both just handed me pamphlets and sent me off to research on my own. (which I've been doing) I don't know what to do. :( Any advice is appreciated! :) I'm so thankful for this board!
