Sonnet, I would reschedule the gyno appointment for an earlier one if possible. You sound like you are describing symptoms of endometriosis not those of PCOS. Perhaps the types of cysts you have are endometriomas. I have PCOS and endometriosis but my endo is not at an advanced stage. My sister, however, has a very advanced stage of endo. She has had cramping, bowel pain, etc., due to the large cysts that formed on her ovaries that attached themselves also to her uterus and bowels. The latest cyst also presses on her bladder causing discomfort. Another component of advanced endo is adhesions which is scar tissue that created a weblike binding that causes a lot of pain. Medication such as Danazol can help get rid of the scar tissue but may not shrink the endometriomas (cysts). My sister is now scheduling her hysterectomy because her doctors had originally dismissed her symptoms. I am not mentioning this to scare you but to hopefully get you to have your symptoms addressed. Also, at the time that you had your surgery, you doctor should have been able to diagnos PCOS I believe. I had a laparoscopy in June and my doc was able to diagnos both PCOS and endo. Good luck and take care.
