Truth is, I'm totally confused. During this past summer, I went to the gyno because I hadn't had a period for 6 months. Before that, I had it for six months straight and before THAT 6 months of nothing. I have always been irregular, but not that irregular (I'm 21 btw). At that time, I noticed facial hair, some velvety patches, and I suspected my hair was thinning.

The gyno tested my FSH, LH, etc. and I had a transabdominal ultrasound. My LH (I think that was what it was) was high and my ultrasound showed some follicles--they called it "borderline" PCO. I was put on the pill.

A few months later, my testosterone and DHEA were taken. My testosterone was 77 (normal 14-76) and my DHEA was like 150 above normal.

Just a couple weeks ago I went to the endo becuase even though I've been on the pill for over 6 months now, I still have worsening hair on my face, arms, chest, etc. I also sweat like a pig (but doc says that's unrelated). So the endo tested my testosterone, free testosterone, progesterone and did an IR test and everything came out very normal. I still have hair and he says if I keep using Vaniqua and the bcp, the hair will "normalize". Should I be concerned now, or not? What the @#$% is going on? Do I have this or not? What about all the new hair?
