Thanks (to Paula also) for responding - I read the responses over my
bowl of ice cream (can you say GLUTTON FOR PUNISHMENT??)..you'd think a
month of diarrhea would have taught me a lesson by now (well it wasn't a
HUGE bowl...).
I've decided today was my last day to indulge in such evils and I am
really going to try to turn myself around.
I also didn't really give enough info - I'm taking the XR, 500 with
lunch and 500 with dinner (in the middle of the meals). I felt pretty
good on the 500 per day (the first 2 weeks) and the effects weren't too
bad but I noticed once I increased I didn't feel as great. I also
noticed I wasn't as alert as I was in the beginning. Maybe I should
lower my dosage back down to 500.. I think I'm going to go through a
week of REALLY keeping the carbs down as much as I can (this should be
fun..) and if I don't feel better then I think I will lower the dosage.
Should I do that first or do you think I should cut back the dosage
first? This whole thing just royally sucks because even when I think I'm
being good (low carb good, not low fat good) and have say, eggs and some
sausage or something I'll still end up in the bathroom. This is because
I can't handle fat since I had my gallbladder out. I just can't win.
But thanks again for responding, I am going to try your suggestions. The
more I think about it, I think I will only take one pill a day for a few
days and see if it makes a difference.
Thanks again.. It's now past my bedtime and I'm sure this didn't make a
bit of sense - I apologize for rambling!
Take care,
Tracy
