Hi, An Adenoma is a tumor on a glad...such as your Adrenal glad.Yes Adrenal Glad tumors (cushings syndrome)can cause elevated prolactin as can Pituitary tumors.hypothyroid can cause it too.BUt remember that PCOS can also cuase over production of prolactin because it can also make your LH/FSH ratio's,progesterone and sometimes estrogen levels all wacko too.You can have your doc rule out adrenal gland tumor by doing a Cortisol test.I wouldnt worry too much about it..as I posted earlier I also have elevated Prolactin and it is because of PCOS nothing else. Dont worry! Dona
