For Doctor Sam...three Questions please....

Hello Dr. Sam,

Can my insulin resistance be a contributing factor to my ankle edema, and ascites in my abdomen?

Is there anyway that I can be overloading on fluids, therefore causing this edema?

The swelling in my ankles and abdomen cause me shortness of breath. When not swollen(which is rarely),my breathing and heartbeat is within a normal range.

I was told to read a book called "The Pulse Test"-foods that disagree...by Arthur Coco, from my doctor. He had made a mention that it talks about IR. I haven't been able to locate the book yet.

He said that possibly,it may just be some offenders of foods causing all these symptoms.Again,my cardioloigist says that my EJ being 70 is that of healthy heart. Is that true?I am more concerned with my heart being effected again by IR or something else. Your response would be really appreciated. Warm Regards Dr. Sam,and thanks for helping with these somewhat complicated questions.

Sincerely,
Barbra Camara
