i don't know for sure but i found a piece on the internet a while ago about raised prolactin levels. I can't find the link but it is on one of my previous posts. What it says is:

"What else could it be? The other conditions likely to cause abnormal periods include raised levels of prolactin and of thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH). Both these hormones are produced from a particular part of the brain, the anterior pituitary. Raised prolactin levals can occur together with headaches and some disturbances of vision, while raised TSH levels indicate loe thyroid hormones (hypothyroidism). Both these conditions lead to suppressed ovulation and infertility."

It may be worth you doing a search for high prolactin on the internet and see what you can pull out.
