She also says that"you are a very attractive young woman, with some minor health issues, that your making far too big of a deal over, you are too concerned with your appearance and you have been doing too much research on the net and it is time to stop it and grab a life".End of story! I now no longer have an Endo as of Friday>I won't buy into that anymore. She is uninformed with the illness....says it's bascially nothing that is going to kill me,knows my other health issues, and has the nerve to say that> I don't even know why I see her, other than my MD making the appointments for me. Sorry again,I don't agree that healthy people can show an increase in their weight by five pounds in a day.I weighed my hubby,my stepson,my grandmother,my mother,my friends(yes,I'm obsessed..lol),and they don't budge the scales as I tend to.I have gone as far as from 155 to 162 in a matter of six hours. Then,my stomach inflates,I have difficulty breathing, and my ankles pit. I say,What's the scoop here? I am so darned frustrated at my cardiologist. He,too, says,"lose weight". Yeah right! My Md says that I am of a normal weight for my height....also since I have alot of muscle mass.If it weren't for the ankle swelling and the belly swelling...I would look normal...not showing any signs at all of any weight problems. I stick to a good low carb diet....increased carbs by adding 15 grams per meal, which I don't think is alot. Most of the time,I am at 10 grams of carbs per meal.I need some carbs, otherwise I cannot tolerate the protein diet. Any suggestions out there. The only things that were helping me with the water retention, was that colloidal silvers and gold....I was not retaining any water then and did feel better. I stopped it,because of the contradicting documentations on these trace minerals. My Doctor, thinks that colloidal silver can be very good.I am not lying. The only thing he said is that in can ruin some of the intestinal flora,as it is much of an anti-biotic so to speak-immune system booster, therefore interrupting the flora. Okay,,ramble,ramble..CAN ANYONE ELSE TELL ME IF THEY PUSH THEIR FINGER INTO THEIR ANKLE-WILL IT LEAVE A DENT?That's all I want to know. I am worried,as I was in early phases of Heart failure, and told now that my heart is fine.I have a very unhealthy maternal side of the family. All have had heart problems, diabetes, artery problems, overweight and the like. I am worried that I am going to end up being another statistic in the family on my mother's side, suffering from the effects of SYDROME X! Any advice would be so appreciated. My MD is the only one that tries to help, but with the specialist's that I have seen..I am getting no where. The cardiologists reports states"no primary heart disease"...leaves it at that now.My MD is frustrated at him, since he says then it is suggestive of secondary heart disease. I know my posts are complicated...I am complicated,,but I don't know where to turn.I have had promises made to me that I will be sent to the Mayo Clinc and that still has not happened yet. Okay, enough said,,,I have so many specialists that I don't even remember what is for what anymore. Can anyone offer advice on what I should do?I walked into the endo...well informed and not a know it all....just told her what I had researched and the other women's experiences,,,and I get that type of response. Oh and by the way,she is a very slim,trim....won't let you talk till she's said her part first, and by the time that I can say my part..."times up". Time to find another Endo! Thanks for all your support ladies for reading my loooooooong posts!!!!! Sorry! It seems my endo isn't really that interested in my fluctuation weights during the day. I,then go to my MD and discuss this with him,and then he places his finger into my ankle to see if it leaves an indent like a spoon mark that persists....that is indicative of severe water retention,;could be my heart(Not in your case),it can be the kidneys,it can be severe.
>I had never thought about this before. Interesting to see how many
