QUESTION:This is interesting,as I,too, get racing heart when I eat.I am finding that the faster my heart beats after eating a meal(probably poor choice, although I am certainly trying, but eat pasta too),I tend to go to the bathroom alot more. I was told that the food choices will affect my heart.Do you agree?

I used to be the queen of carbs-mostly pasta's and salads, fruits and veggies,as I was so much into fitness before being ill...now,life has changed so much,,,I cannot even go to a restaruant,as it is so difficult to find something low carb.

Any tips would help me out here. Do you find that after certain foods that your heart races? Please excuse my ignorance with IR. I still don't seem to understand how IR can cause a myriad of symptoms. Can you tell me approximately how many grams of carbs you have with each meal?I was told to had no more than ten with each meal, and find that very difficult to do.Then I am just exhausted and cannot even walk from one room to the other without experiencing debilitating fatigue. When I increase the carbs somewhat,I do tend to feel slightly better.I eat some pasta with crab(my ultimate fav),and I end up palping all day.I eat pasta, and my heart races....then I pee more too. This,I find strange,as carbs are supposed to make you retain more water-aren't they? I am so confused.

Oh,yes,I can attest to that!-Delicate balance alright,,,,lol-just one poor food choice and we can have so many symptoms.
