Lauree, Did you make a typo on the vanilla? I made this last night. I used only a quarter cup of vanilla, since that's a large bottle itself, and 1/2 cup seemed like an awful lot. It was pretty strong and a litlle bitter. Was that supposed to be a half Tablespoon or something? Otherwise, the texture was great, and the taste under the vanilla was great.
