I was curious to know if any of you have been on or are participating in the Insmed Ins-1 study for PCOS? I have been participating for 5 months now and I am convinced I am taking the placebo!! I joined hoping that I would get the real thing, and I thought I was at first. The first month I had a period (coincidental I think) and after the second month I had lost 4 pounds without altering my diet. Now, 3 months later, still no period and no more weight loss. In fact, my hair is falling out faster, too! I am thinking of quitting and going to an Endo to get on Metformin. Anyone have experience with this study??
