Hi Anne...that's not a stupid question at all ! I guess I never thought of it that way before, and shame on me I was a hairdresser for almost 100 years! :) I'm not sure what you can do about male vs. female. I would hope though, that if your hormones get 'more female' (you know what I mean...it's early for me !) Than chances would be better to have female pattern. Maybe talk to your doctor next visit.
