Thanks for any help you >can provide. I know how you feel, I finally got help this week after 10 long years of knowing I had PCOS. Pick up the phone book or look in the WEB white pages (MSN.com has a link to the white pages) and look for endocrinologists in your area. Try to find one that specializes in reproductive endocrinology. They are your best bet at getting help. Also check out the prfoessional member list on the PCOS home page and see if any live in your area. Finally, deamnd that your regular doctor give you a list of doctors that treat PCOS. I fought with a lot of health professionals before I got help. I weigh 300 lbs and have had irregular periods (3 or 4 a year) since I was 13. I have battled depression too. Keep in mind that it can be treated and find the "smart" doctors.
