The town local to Gatwick is called Crawley. Take a look at the town
website http://www.crawley.localwebsuk.com, which has hotels listed, and a
section about Gatwick airport. I saw from that website that there is an
Ibis hotel nearby which runs a shuttle bus to Gatwick airport
http://www.ibishotel.com. I'm afraid I've never stayed at a hotel at Gatwick
as it only takes 25 minutes to drive to my Mum and Dad's home, or 1 1/2
hours to my own home!
