Thank you Lis for the suggestions! I don't know how much time we'll actually have, as our flight arrives at 1:30pm and we leave again the following morning. Maybe enough to go see the Tower though!!

Okay my BIG QUESTION if anyone can respond by Sunday!!:

Can any of you "locals" suggest a place to stay near Gatwick airport?? We're actually having some trouble with that. On our way back we arrive at Heathrow from Sofia, but leave the next morning from Gatwick to get to SFO. We're trying to find a place to stay that night near Gatwick so we can sort of wake up the next morning and get straight to the airport no worries.
