Hi- Agh! not being able to get back on line for the last few days has been driving me mad. When I suggested it to my doctor he just said " PCOS ? doesn't exsist, and anyway what would you know ??? " Ha! What an idiot...I am currently in the throws of changing to a hopefully nicer doctor. The more I read on here the more all my probs seem to make sense. I am definately going o be a regular on this board. I'm based in Feltham which is near Heathrow Airport, London, so if anyone does know a good doctor, I'd be really grateful. Oh and the programme ? It was BBC's Watchdog Healthcheck. My mother is an insulin dependent Diabetic, and has just come off Metformin. They made her grouchy and sleepy and gave her awful I.B.S. Has anyone else had these symptoms when taking Metformin ??? What did you do to combat them and also is Metformin the only / or best tablet to take, of the type needed ???
