PCOS or Cushing's, maybe both?

Does anyone else here have both PCOS and Cushing's Syndrome. My doctor told me I have both, but that doesn't make sense to me. I thought with PCOS your cortisol levels were low, and in Cushing's they're high. Plus, how can you tell the difference? The symptoms are almost exactly alike, from the facial hair, missing periods, weight gain, high testosterone, etc. I also worry that so many women are getting diagnosed with only PCOS, and they might have Cushing's. And at least Cushing's can be cured.

Just wondering if I'm the lone bird out here with both. Thanks, SarahJ
