Hello Barbra - Thanks for the supportive info. I have LMP Ovarian Cancer Stage IIIB. The diagnosis is very guarded. As long as they got all the tumors during surgery, and all of the diseased tissue it is great. It probably won't come back. If however some of the tumors or cysts that had been rupturing prior to surgery, had cancerous cells in them, then I will have to be operated on again for the new tumors. They might be anywhere. That is frightening. My gyn/oncologist has a very upbeat attitude and so I have to try to not read into the smile. I am trying to accept that I have this, that I will always have to follow it, and be thankful that it could have been a more aggressive cell type and my diagnosis would be very bleak.

I have found that it is very hard to get medical translations. My gyn/oncologist though a great dr., has no patitience to explain all of the nomenclature to me. I am currently trying every resource I know. I was in the dark for so many years, I feel like I need to be in control of my own destiny health wise and not just trust a dr. to know what I need, because in doing that look what happened!

Thanks Again for your prayers and support. I am sorry to read of your own family's loss to cancer. RobinS
