Zan,

Clomid sometimes just does not work for PCOS. I had the highest dose 200mg and it was like taking water. Good question below is your dr. monitoring your ovaries with u/s? I went to a RE and after the first dose of clomid he put me right on the injections for the next try, he monitored me with u/s almost every other day. My cycle took three weeks before they found tow big follicles. Then with the HCG shot and tow inseminations I became pregnant after trying for six years on my own and not knowing about the PCOS. I had a baby boy in May.

PS I didn't believe the drs that kept telling me to go on BC after I had my baby they say some people become fertile after this, so we had planned to go through the process again in May '02. Well low in behold I am now 14w pregnant w/o any fertility drugs.

Also make sure that they check your progesterone!!
