I doubt that you are too old to be a physician. Many people are going back to college, including med school, at a later age than most traditional students. In fact, med schools love "older" students because they are usually more serious about the endeavor, have put more thought into it, pay for it themselves (not parents), work harder, have more wisdom and life experience, and are more prepared for the workload.
