I remember the first time that I heard this, I thought it was ridiculous but I have seen the video evidence to prove it. The uterus really tips down and dips into the semen, sucking it up into the uterus.

Does anyone remember when you were a child, seeing a home decoration that was a clear glass chicken or rooster with a bulb of red liquid in the bottom. When tipped, the liquid would go to the "head" of the bird and it would tip and then lift back up when the fluid rebounded and returned to the bottom, repeat, repeat, etc. It would appear to be pecking on the ground. That same up and down motion is what the end of the uterus does.
