HI there! :) Unfortunately, I don't know about whether or not you can take Gluc a few days before. i HAVE had the test done though. It was quite uncomfortable, but that was partly because My tubes were blocked and he pushed the dye through to unblock them. Also, I would recommend taking one or two Tylenol(not Aspirin) an hour before. It only takes a few minutes and you may have some period like cramps for a few hours afterwards. I also had a little spotting for the rest of the day. I hope this helps a little. :)
