Tera your message came at the perfect time. I was having a hard night feel overwhelmed and unable to do everything needed to get this adoption moving! It gave me a great deal of encouragement, thank you!

No real solid luck yet on the job front, although Pete has some good leads. We discussed this with the agency and they said to go ahead, they assume he'll find work. The adoption itself was already paid for (thanks to a loan from a very gracious family member) so we are just forging ahead and taking it on faith that work will show up!

We're leaving even earlier than I thought - the 27th! That's in less than 2 weeks now!

Best of luck to you and your husband as you consider adoption. I know I've mentioned it before, but many of my family members are adopted and it has been a truly wonderful, blessed experience in all cases. Don't let the few horror stories that are out there scare you off!

Anyway thanks for the note - it really helped! take care.
