I've noticed that mine come around as my cycle comes near. I am just getting over a reallyyy bad one in my right arm pit. I let it go way to long until it became infected, even after it finally drained on its on a month and a half or so later. The hole was the size of a pea and wouldn't close. I ended up at a surgeon b/c my dr thought the infection had tunneled in too deep, b/c antibiotics wouldn't touch it. Fortunetly, the surgeon said it was fine and started packing it with dressing, causing it to heal from the inside out. This has worked and the hole is nothing but a speck now. (after packing it for 2-3 weeks) I would suggest warm compresses on it for about a week or so to see if it drains or goes down on its own. If that doesn't help, I would see your dr.
