Hello Ladies! I just have to tell you first off..that I know first hand that losing weight is not the solution to our problems..that it is a symptom in and of itself..and I know that with the IR losing weight is a b****!!! I still have to tell you though..I am sooooo happy!!! It seems that exercise is a tremendous help:D I was reading in this PCOS book about how walking before you eat in the morning along with walking in general is soooo good for us...because it not only burns off fat but excess sugar in the blood as well!!! Now I had been walking and not eating at night and lost a bunch of weight....but when i quit walking(even though i was still not eating at night) i either gained a few pounds back or stayed the same weight w/out budging. The minute I started walking again it started melting back off!! I usually walk at night (thats the best time for my body) but I made myself start doing it in the morning before eating as well, like the book recommended and low and behold it came off even faster than before!!! I am happy..although it wasnt easy at first, it certainly is worth it! i know everyone is different and some of you may be exercising and it may not help, but i felt maybe this could encourage some of you, who, like me, have not been able to keep losing or lose any at all. Plus walking is easy..i just put on my CD headphones and hit the bricks! I dont do it like some crazy racer either..i just take my time ..put in about an hour a day and am done. It feels great too because once your body gets used to it..you WANT to do it..and it relieves stress..and Lord knows i have enough with worrying about this icky syndrome and life in general:P Anyway, I hope this may encourage or help some of you...it has me..and I wanted to share:D:D:D!!!! Kudos!
