This is so weird....
DH and I have been thinking about adoption for a while. We had no idea
it would go SO FAST! We started looking in October, were matched with
our son in November, and now we've just heard that the orphanage in
Bulgaria wants us to travel out there ASAP to meet him! We are going in
THREE WEEKS, I can't stand it! It is soooo cold in the mountains this
time of year, I need a new parka! His room doesn't even have any
furniture yet besides a bed and all of my PCOSA office stuff! (Thank
goodness it will take a few more months to get it all finalized.) I'm
just, whoa, my head is just spinning! You guys, I get to hold my son in
a few weeks! Whooooo!
I found out this week that he is 83cm tall and weighs 22 pounds. (He
just turned 2 in October, right when we were looking for him.) He has
the most beautiful blond curls and big bue eyes!
Help me come up with a good middle name, btw!! Dennis is his birth name,
so we're keeping it. DH's family has a tradition of all their middle
names starting with J, so it has to start with J. Dennis John maybe?
That's DH's middle name. I am leaning towards Dennis Jacob. Of course
when I asked DH he suggested Jebediah, isn't he helpful????
I also feel soooo bad as I started a new job just this last week. I
have been there for 6 days and Monday I have to go in and say I need a
week off. Ugh, not looking forward to that conversation.
Anyway, lots going on with us, I just had to share (and explain why some
nights I've got more to do and am not here as often!)
