I was always a very thin, muscular, wiry child (although hypoglycemic - that should have tipped someone off!) I started gaining weight when I was 9. By the time I was 14, I weighed about 250lbs I think. At my highest, this summer, I weighed about 370. It comes on in bunches, almost overnight. It seems as though I literally go to bed and wake up with an extra 20 pounds from the day before. I can go months with no change in my weight, and months where I gain 50 pounds or so. I am PRAYING that the super-high dose of Glucophage works for me, I'm tired of not being in control of my body and of my size.
