Why did your doctor say you had to have kids in a yr? Is there something wrong with your ovaries or something? There have been A LOT of people here on this e-ail list alone that have had healthy children even if it is a high risk pregnancy. I do agree with silly5000 that you should get a second opion before you do anything drastic. I should also mention that I am also 17... I have never talked to anyone my age that has PCOS so I would like to talk to you more if you like. I was just diagnosed about June or July of this last yr but I have had it for about 7 yrs I think... since I was about 9 when I started my period.
