Your swollen belly is very possibly caused by testosterone. Elevated (or even normal depending on how your body reacts) testosterone is a COMMON cause of the mid-section weight. Other problems that can stem from it are:

acne unexplained weight gain hairloss (male pattern balding : P ) excess facial and body hair (hirsutism)

If the testosterone levels are high enough it can affect ovulation and disrupt the menstrual cycle.

The weight I gained 'crept' on, started at 28 years old. Slow but VERY consistent. It was around 30 pounds one year and then the rest the next. I started out underweight and even after pregnancy remained so.

Keep an eye on things but try not to stress, you may NEVER have a problem. If you suddently start showing symptoms that you didn't have before, talk to your Dr.. You may need to change or modify your treatment, diet etc..
