Hi Mel, I am in the uk too, and agree about the useless doctors.
But what I am really writing to say is don't just let them force you to
have a hysterectomy! Some doctors are very quick to resort to surgery
because they have such little understanding of the problem (for example
would you trust them to treat your pcos? me neither!).
I'm no expert on fibroids but I do remember that excess oestrogen
(oestrogen dominance) is one cause of them, and most of us with pcos
have this oestrogen dominance. Supplementing with natural progesterone
can fix the problem. So make sure you find out all about the problem
yourself, don't just trust a doctor!
