I will discontinue discussing it however I know a great many PCOS women who are very interested in discussing the link between PCOS and mental illness, if not at least to understand that it is a great contributing factor to mental breaks. We simply do not understand enough of why mental breaks occur to say that a "predisposition" is always required. A person's mental state can degrade due to many, many different criteria.

There are *always* reasons for why things occur. You simply have to find them. PCOS **was** a contributing factor to my sister's break, as was the prednisone, as was the illicit drug use, as was the state of her personal life, etc. A **lot** of people have a predisposition as you term it but it never goes farther than that.
