Dear Anonymous:

You know that is so interesting. I lost 45 lbs in 6 months doing pretty much what you are talking about but I was also adding weight training the last couple months. Worked up from not being able to walk 1/4 mile to walking 4 miles a day or so.

And I was NOT eating after dinner.

I am convinced that exercise is a key because of the insulin action. Studies have shown that exercise decreases insulin resistance as does weight loss.

I found I could eat moderately high carb stuff with very little impact.

And I've gained 15 lbs in 6 months (most of it the last 2 months) since I quit exercising.

My starting weight was 347. Now I'm down to 317 as of this morning.

I was also on Chromium picolinate (twin labs brand) and it was extremely helpful.
