Well, you've ruled out Cushing's, which is good. Always good to start by figuring out what you don't have!

Your thryoid seems to be confusing to the doctors, but at least you're having a great deal of attention paid to it, which is a plus. Surely they'll find anything out if it's there.

As far as the PCOS goes, it sounds like you haven't got any symptoms of it. (I don't know if you've got the cysts or not.) Your period is regular, you don't suffer from balding, acne, facial hair, etc., and weight gain while present, isn't pronounced. Right? But your blood work is sort of borderline PCOS. Your LH:FSH ratio is slightly out of whack and your androgen levels are up a bit. The report doesn't say anything about insulin levels or glucose tolerance.

Which leaves me at... I don't know! It's highly possible you could have a mild case of PCOS going. It's also possible that your bloodowrk is off due to other problems with your health or other substances you're taking. I get the feeling from the way your physician worded the report that he suspects the herbal stuff could be responsible for your symptoms and / or bloodwork at least in part. It's always possible!

What I would do in your case, I guess, is focus on eating a low carb diet and getting plenty of excercize. (which I just spent 5 minutes trying to remember how to spell like an American again, it's not -cise, is it!) If you've got PCOS, those two things can do you a world of good in helping you to be healthier. If you don't, they're good for you anyway.

How's that sound? :)
