I am a PCOS sufferer and have been for several years...I haven't always struggled with my weight though....During my teens..I participated in many different sports..and gym class alone helped me keep the weight off...When I graduated from college in 1994..I went away for a summer job with friends...from May until November...When I came home I went from 110 lbs at 4'11 to 165-170..My mother didn't even know me...Really my eating habits didn't change either...So needless to say, I have tried every diet..I just could not do the Atkins..High proteins..Low carbs diet..I am not a huge meat-eater,but I really made me feel losey...I feel the best way is too cut out any sugar..like soda, cakes, cookies...ice cream..I enjoy eating fresh vegs, fruit and bread...I eat for dinner a couple cups of steamed veggies with white or brown rice....theis seems to work along with exercise and alot of water...
