Re: more spiro questions - please adviseFrom: Shelley (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 9 Jan 2002 07:17:02 -0800 (PST)
Hi there! :) I am on Spiro as well.100 mg once a day. I had quite a problem with spotting when I first started taking it. My Dr. said that it was normal and it often subsides once your body adjusts a bit. I have been taking it for a few months now and DO find that it has pretty much disappeared. I hope this helps a little. --- amy renee <anonymous@obgyn.net> wrote: > hi, > > i started taking 25mg of spiro twice a day 2 months > ago to slow my hair > loss. > > my endo suggested such a small dosage to prevent the > side effects BUT > weird things are happening. i finally started > having semi-regular > periods less than a year ago after being on > glucophage since june of 99. > > on xmas eve, 20 days after my last period had > started, i had what i > thought was spotting which lasted almost a week. it > was really light - > waste of a pantiliner-type flow. i'm sure it was > the spiro because ivbe > never had a problem with spotting before. > > or was that my period?? it was WAY too light. > should i be concerned? > has this happened to anyone else who has taken > spiro? or does anyone > else know what's going on? > > any insight is appreciated. > > thanks, > amy > ===== Want to get paid to save money?Check out my website to learn how!http://successfromhome.sosteam.net Send FREE video emails in Yahoo!
