Re: Am i being deceitful or I am wise to wait????(long but not too long)From: Sonnet (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 9 Jan 2002 02:08:31 -0600 (CST)
You know, sometimes I swear we feel our pricklies worse than others do! Seriously, when my chin hair grows out to a two or three day length, I am thinking man, I could cut glass with those things, they HURT if I accidently scratch my shoulder or something. But my husband always says he can't feel them if we're kissing or something. Sometimes when I'm feeling obnoxious about it I will "stab" him in the arm or something with my stubble, and he still claims he can't feel it or even see it "other than one or two tiny ones." So maybe it won't be an issue! Since you've sent him pictures it's not like either way is going to be misleading, really. I think either way, as long as you've made the decision that makes you feel the most comfortable and confident, it's okay. If you decide not to tel him, it's totally possible he won't even notice. Also totally possible that he will but not think too much of it. Or notice but not think it's the kind of thing that needed to be previously disclosed in a "buyer beware" type thing! On the other hand, it might make you feel better to tell him that you have some hair going on, and although it's probably a lot less than you think it is you get really self-conscious about it. He sounds like a nice guy, maybe being up front like that will alleviate your fears and make it into something you can battle together. Good luck at the meeting!! Let us know how it goes!
