more spiro questions - please advise

hi,

i started taking 25mg of spiro twice a day 2 months ago to slow my hair loss.

my endo suggested such a small dosage to prevent the side effects BUT weird things are happening. i finally started having semi-regular periods less than a year ago after being on glucophage since june of 99.

on xmas eve, 20 days after my last period had started, i had what i thought was spotting which lasted almost a week. it was really light - waste of a pantiliner-type flow. i'm sure it was the spiro because ivbe never had a problem with spotting before.

or was that my period?? it was WAY too light. should i be concerned? has this happened to anyone else who has taken spiro? or does anyone else know what's going on?

any insight is appreciated.
