I had the ear and throat problems all the time, especially when I had mono at age 25,when my whole mouth was soooo inflamed and my gums were comming apart from my teeth,I was put on the amox too for almost three months. It did help, but always anti-biotics,at least twice a year for my throat and ear infections. I always coughed up green phelgm,,,,,,,(bleah},,yes,I know, you could pull the stringy stuff out.Sorry, this is getting gross hu???=) HOping you have a nice day----mine has already started as crapola!
