Should I raise my dose of Met ? I am now in my 3rd month of taking Metformin. I am on 500g per day. I have just started to notice that my chocolate cravings are coming back and I'm hungry all the time (and I was doing so well at eating healthy ... grrr!) I womder if maybe it's time to up my dose as I notice that a lot of you guys are on much higher doses. My doctor only gave me the Met because I begged and she's not actually convinced that it will help me so she's not bothered about what doseage I'm on - she just gave me it to shut me up I think. Should I talk to her before upping the doseage ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
